Every step of the process will be assisted by a dedicated specialist, and patient may travel to Taiwan within 20 days after completing the application. The patient may stay and carry out the medical treatments in Kinmen according to the number of days specified in the doctor’s medical plan Before applying for a medical visa, you must first obtain a marriage certificate.
\nThe marriage certificate needs to be processed at the local notary office, and the local notary office will send it to Taiwan Strait Foundation for verification.
\nPlease send the following documents to the hospital:<\/p>\n

–\t1 marriage certificate<\/p>\n

–\t1 photocopy of the front and back of the ID cards of both husband and wife – both black and white in color<\/p>\n

–\t2 application forms for entering Taiwan – 1 for each spouse<\/p>\n

–\t2-inch passport-size photo with white background and no hat (taken within half a year), 2 photos for each spouse.<\/p>\n

After receiving the verification from the Taiwan Strait Foundation , the center will apply for a medical visa to the Taiwan Immigration Department with the documents mentioned previously.<\/p>\n

After obtaining the medical visa, please apply for a Taiwan travel permit and Q visa at patients\u2019 local immigration office.<\/p>\n
